With repertoires spanning pop, R&B, jazz, Latin, Broadway, Israeli, and more, we match the perfect vocalist to your event.
Live Trio Band
Live Trio Band — Acoustic, Jazz, String & Israeli Trios
A live trio band is three musicians working as one: enough to fill a room with real, live sound, and compact enough for a terrace, a foyer or a corner of the ballroom without a stage. Choose an acoustic trio built around voice and guitar, a jazz trio led by keys with saxophone or a voice up front, a string trio of violin, viola and cello, or an Israeli trio that pairs oud, darbuka or bouzouki with a singer in Hebrew and English.
Trios are made for the ceremony, cocktail hour and dinner, and they can pass the night straight to the full band or the DJ once the dancing begins. Planning the first hour? Our cocktail hour music page goes deeper on trio set lists, volume and placement, and any trio can be built into a wedding band and DJ package.

Frequently Asked Questions
What types of live bands do you offer for events in Los Angeles?
Our live band roster covers a wide range of genres and configurations — from full 8–10 piece wedding bands performing pop, soul, and Top 40 hits, to jazz trios for cocktail hours, Israeli and Middle Eastern ensembles for Jewish celebrations, Latin bands, acoustic duos for ceremonies, and high-energy dance bands for reception parties.
Can I hire a live singer for my wedding in Los Angeles?
Yes. On Air Productions LA represents professional live vocalists available for weddings throughout Los Angeles. Our singers perform at ceremonies, cocktail hours, and receptions — covering every genre from pop and R&B to Israeli and jazz.
Can you provide a live band or singer for a Jewish or Israeli wedding?
Yes. We have musicians and vocalists experienced in Israeli folk music, Mizrahi songs, Jewish celebration music, klezmer-influenced arrangements, and traditional Hora music. A live Israeli ensemble or bilingual Hebrew/English singer during dinner — then transitioning into a full DJ dance party — is one of our most requested combinations for Israeli weddings in Los Angeles.
Can I combine live bands or singers with DJ services?
Absolutely — and this is one of our most popular packages. A live band or singer performs during cocktail hour and dinner while guests enjoy the ambiance of live music, then a professional DJ takes over to keep the dance floor packed. The combination delivers the best of both worlds and creates a complete entertainment arc for your event.
Do you offer bilingual Hebrew and English singers?
Yes. We have bilingual vocalists fluent in both Hebrew and English who are experienced with Israeli wedding traditions and music.
How far in advance should I book a live band or singer for my event?
We recommend booking 6–12 months in advance for weddings and Bar Mitzvahs, as top ensembles and vocalists book quickly — particularly around Jewish holidays and peak Los Angeles wedding season (spring and fall). Call us at 310-200-1134 to check availability.
Can we have a live band and a DJ at our wedding?
Yes — a live band and a DJ can share your wedding, and booking them together as a wedding band and DJ package keeps the whole night with one team. One natural split is the band for cocktail hour, dinner and the opening dance sets, then the DJ for the late-night dance floor, or the DJ playing between the band's sets so the dance floor never goes quiet. Every package is quoted individually around your date, venue and timeline.
Do you have an Israeli live band?
Yes — we put together Israeli live bands for weddings, Bar and Bat Mitzvahs and Jewish celebrations, with singers who perform in Hebrew and English. The set can lean toward Israeli pop, Mizrahi songs or classic Israeli favorites, and instruments such as oud, bouzouki and darbuka can join the lineup. When the band finishes, DJ Gilad Emesh, an Israeli-born DJ, can carry the Israeli and Mizrahi dance sets through the rest of the night.
What size live band do we need for a wedding or event?
The right size depends on your guest count, the room and how much of the night the band plays, and our bands range from 4 to 10 musicians. A four- or five-piece suits a smaller reception or a band that plays dinner and then hands the dance floor to the DJ, while a large ballroom that dances to the band all night calls for a fuller lineup with more instruments and voices. Share your guest count and venue, and we will suggest a lineup that fills the room without overwhelming it.
Can we book a live band for a Bar or Bat Mitzvah?
Yes — a live band fits a Bar or Bat Mitzvah well, whether it plays the adults' cocktail hour and dinner or a set of Israeli and Jewish favorites before the dancing. The DJ and an MC in Hebrew and English keep the kids' party moving, from the grand entrance to the candle lighting and the hora with the chair lift. Because one team plans the band, the DJ and the MC together, each handoff lands on cue.
Do you offer a live trio band?
Yes — we offer live trios in four styles (acoustic, jazz, string and Israeli) for the ceremony, cocktail hour or dinner. A trio brings live musicianship to a space that is too small or too quiet for a full band, and it can hand the evening to the DJ or the full band when the dancing starts.
Will your live band travel to San Diego, Las Vegas or San Francisco?
Yes — our live bands play weddings and events in San Diego, Las Vegas and the San Francisco Bay Area, traveling from Los Angeles with the rest of our team. The band, the DJ and the production crew arrive together, so a celebration out of town is planned and run by the same people as one in Los Angeles.
